Weekly Advent

Nominally weekly I will post something, it will either be a reflection on culture, the political order, Theology, and philosophy or it will be ramblings that sounded great in my head.

Why the name?

Advent is a Latin word that is from the prefix ad which means to, the verb Venire which means to come, and tus which is a suffix making the word a perfect passive participle. Put all the parts together and it translates to mean “to come in the past while still coming now”. Is that not the great mystery of Christianity? That God became incarnate in a particular point in time but yet is still coming again while also being present now!

Subscriptions

I have subscriptions activated but am not going to restrict anything unless I have readers and until I can prove that I can maintain consistent quality publications. It would be theft if I charged but was unable to deliver consistently.
